Colorado Christmas

We were blessed to be able to visit our wonderful home state of Colorado over Christmas and New Years. It was a fabulous 2 weeks filled with fun in the snow, family time, and even a suprise birthday party! Our families are so wonderful and we are so blessed to have such a tight-knit community in Colorado. Thank you to our friends who made time to see us. We love you all so much!

We started out with a White Christmas where we sledded, shot clay pigeons, and played games as a family.

We got to visit the old Manitou Arcade and the kids won big!!

Our awesome friends, Jo and Ryan, from Nebraska met us in Estes Park for snowshoeing and to get our fix of the Colorado mountains.

We got to spend good quality time with our parents and lauged a lot!

We rung in the New Year at the Dougherty house.

And we got to meet our Goddaughter for the first time.

We threw a suprise birthday party for James and had a lot of fun taking silly pictures.

And got a lot of cuddle time with the kiddos. I am so amazed by how quickly they are growing and all that they have learned.

Being home was so refreshing. It was two weeks filled with so much love, laughter, and lots of sunshine. Colorado is where both our hearts are and being back filled up our tanks so we could come home refreshed. It was such a blessing to spend this special time of the year with so many fabulous people.

"Your love, LORD, reaches to the heavens, your faithfulness to the skies.Your righteousness is like the highest mountains, your justice like the great deep. You, LORD, preserve both people and animals." ~Psalm 36:5-6
