We're Back and New!

It has been an epic year: the year of babies, international moves, and home purchasing. So much has changed since my last post and so much has been taught. This blog has been many things over the years; transforming and changing along with our family. It began as a daily life blog, morphed into a travel blog, and now it has become a financial blog. Now that we are a one-income family with two babies and a home, this is where our focus is; Making good buying decisions, saving for the future, and leaving a legacy for our children.

If you've spent more than an hour with us, you should know that we are BIG financial nerds. What I mean by this is that we love to talk budgets, purchases, and investing. Neither of us are trained, licensed, or certified in finance, investing, insurance, or any other product or industry. We just love to give advice on making good and God decisions with money. We are not selling anything and we do not think we know it all, we just want to share what has worked for us over the past 7 years (and what hasn't). We do follow most of the principles taught by Dave Ramsey, but first and foremost we follow the principles taught in the Bible. We believe all that we have: money, family, our kids and so much more is solely on loan from God and it is our job to handle it using the principles He has given us in His Word.
