Keukenhof, Holland: A List

One of my favorite bloggers is The Pioneer Woman. I love to read her blog in the afternoon for a quick bit of laughter to refresh my attitude. She is not only hilarious but also has great recipe ideas, one of my favorites is this Pork Chop recipe.  Today I am writing A List, an idea I am "borrowing" from PW.

1) About a month ago, we drove 4 hours to see a bunch of flowers. And it was totally worth it!

2) There were Tulips and other flowers sprawling for acres and the colors were magnificent.

3) A lot of people didn't follow the rules. Right after this picture, an old man accosted these people and continued to follow them around yelling at them in Dutch. It was very amusing

4) A lot of the flowers were so beautiful that they looked fake. This one is breathtaking.

5) And, of course, I couldn't keep myself from shoe shopping while we were there.

6) My point-and-shoot camera takes awesome photos in Macro.

 7) The windmills are such a classic Dutch (Holland-ese, Netherland-ian) thing. I couldn't get enough of them!

8) I'm not sure if widescreen shots show up on this blog but I'm putting it up anyways...

9) I was able to fulfill my bucket list number 852....well, if I had a bucket list it would be that number. I got to pet a real-life baby cow (also know as a calf).

10) And bucket list number 214....go through a legit grass maze. I was pretending I was in the the 4th Harry Potter book.... It was fantastic!

This is James' confused face. It is also his surprised and concentration face...hehe

11) We sneaked onto the Tulip fields and only got caught by the "Tulip Police" after taking a few stunning photos. I never felt more like Dorothy (Wizard of Oz) than when I stood in this vast field of Tulips. Thankfully, I didn't fall asleep and it didn't snow.

12) Not trying to be eccentric but this lonely yellow flower reminds me of Christ. So beautiful even if it doesn't fit in, and it shouldn't. I want to be more like this yellow Tulip.

I can't wait to go back next year. What a great place to take photos and enjoy the outdoors!
